  An EMF meter is a scientific instrument for measuring electromagnetic fields (abbreviated as EMF). Most meters measure the electromagnetic radiation flux density (DC fields) or the change in an electromagnetic field over time (AC fields), essentially the same as a radio antenna, but with quite different detection characteristics. 


    A digital video recorder or DVR with IR, (infrared), or night vision is one of the most useful pieces of equipment available. Not only will it document what you see with your eyes but, can record things that the human eye can not see on its own.

Psychic Abilities

 Psychic abilities are a sixth sense that includes reception of information not gained through the recognized physical senses but, sensed with the mind. The term was adopted by Duke University psychologist J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as intuition, telepathy, psychometry, clairaudience, and clairvoyance, and their trans-temporal operation as precognition or retrocognition.


 Digital audio recorders are a staple investigation tool for recording EVP (electronic voice phenomena) which is sound potentially caused by ghosts in order to communicate with us from the beyond. A ghost box or spirit box is also a handy device using various methods to promote and enhance potential communication. In contrast, a voice heard with the human ear is called a disembodied voice.


 An orb is defined as "an anomalous globe-shaped spot, either white or colored, that shows up in photographs taken at allegedly haunted locations. Also known as 'ghost orbs', 'spirit orbs' and 'angel orbs'. Orbs first began to be noticed in photographs with the advent of the  pocket flash camera in the 1990s.

Motion Detector

  A motion detector is a device that detects moving objects, particularly people. Such a device is often integrated as a component of  a system that automatically performs a task or alerts a user of motion in an area. Most of time Paranormal Investigators place motion detector in hope it will alarm any motion caused by ghostly apparition.

Shadow People

 A shadow person (also known as a shadow figure, shadow being or black mass) is the perception of a patch of shadow as a living, humanoid figure, particularly as interpreted by believers in the paranormal or supernatural as the presence of a spirit or other entity. Many methamphetamine addicts report hallucinations of "shadow people", as a result of sleep deprivation.
